Born and raised in Savannah, Georgia, Fred Drake has always had a strong passion for community and service. After earning his barber’s license at just 19, Fred relocated to Charlotte, where his entrepreneurial spirit led him to open Goodfellas Barber Shop by the age of 26. Through this platform, he became a well-known community figure — organizing neighborhood cookouts, back-to-school drives and sponsoring AAU basketball teams, all in the name of giving back.

In 2022, Fred expanded his commitment to helping others by becoming a licensed Realtor®. His decision to join the industry was driven by a desire to guide and support individuals and families through one of life’s most important milestones — homeownership. Now a proud member of Yancey Realty, Fred brings his people-first mindset, deep local knowledge and dedication to service into every client interaction.

A devoted father of three — with children in college, high school and elementary school — Fred understands the value of finding the right home for every stage of life. In his downtime, you’ll find him on the golf course, in the gym or planning his next family vacation.
